Hylenex recombinant is a recombinant form of human hyaluronidase that is used to improve the absorption of other injected drugs. It is a clear, colorless, and sterile solution that is injected into a patient’s skin or subcutaneous tissue. It works enzymatically to break down hyaluronic acid, which is a component of the extracellular matrix that helps to bind cells together. This increases the absorption of injected drugs by disrupting their entrapment in the matrix, which can improve the efficacy of the drug.
Hylenex recombinant is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, white to off-white, lyophilized powder for subcutaneous injection. Each vial contains 150 units human hyaluronidase. HYLENEX recombinant is indicated as an adjuvant to increase the absorption and dispersion of other injected drugs; for subcutaneous fluid administration; and as an adjunct in subcutaneous urography for improving resorption of radiopaque agents. HYLENEX recombinant is supplied as a sterile, clear, colorless, nonpreserved, ready-for-use solution. Each mL contains 150 USP units of recombinant human hyaluronidase with 8.5 mg sodium chloride, 1.4 mg dibasic sodium phosphate, 1 mg albumin human, 1.5 mg L-methionine, 0.2 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide added for pH adjustment.
Hylenex recombinant for injection 150 units/mL is a recombinant human hyaluronidase. It is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG)ase that catalyzes the degradation of hyaluronan, a polymer of the disaccharide N-acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid. Hyaluronan is a major component of the extracellular matrix, and is involved in a variety of biological processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation. By degrading hyaluronan, hyaluronidase increases the permeability of the extracellular matrix, facilitating the spread of cells and the entry of macromolecules into the tissue. Hylenex recombinant for injection 150 units/mL is indicated for the treatment of patients with hereditary angioedema.

Refund Policy
Returns are NOT accepted for prescription / RX items due to federal regulations on temperature control standards.

Products must be unopened due to regulations from the department of health. All medical products are to be sold in the original packaging and cannot be repackaged.
All products to be returned must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date, 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.
All returns authorized by us are subject to a restocking fee of 25%, and must be completed within 30 days of the date of invoice/Sales receipt.
