Butterfly needles (or scalp vein sets) are used in medical and aesthetic practices for both extraction and infusion procedures. The plastic wings on each side allow you to access superficial veins and secure the needle in position. And with a larger 21 Gauge, you can target larger veins and procure larger blood samples. 

Each box contains 100, individually wrapped, E/O sterilized butterfly needles. Our needles also have a sliding safety shield and come with 12 inch tubing. Compared to other needles, they’re much smaller and are used for superficial veins (veins closer to the outer layer of the skin) and can be used to take blood samples or to infuse substances intravenously.
