When using nitrile gloves and other types of disposable gloves, make sure to avoid letting the outside of the gloves touch your hands. Here’s how to do it:

1. Grab the outer side of one of the gloves at the wrist and start pulling it towards the fingertips.
2. Let your gloved hand hold the other disposable glove.
3. Use your now-bare hand to remove the glove from the other hand.
4. Start at the wrist and repeat the process until the first glove is inside the second glove.
5. Throw away both gloves into the right bin to avoid contamination.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Always make sure to use new nitrile exam gloves for each patient and wash your hands to avoid contamination or spread of infection.
