MINT UP
MINTTMĀ UP is one of the shortest barbed PDO threads in our product portfolio at 9.5cm. This makes it highly beneficial for detailed threading in small areas. The exposed thread on the distal end of the cannula is unidirectional to accommodate for smooth insertion, and the cannulated portion of the thread has multi-directional barbs for all-around fixation.
MINTā¢ absorbable PDO suture is made of Ļolydioxanone. Polydioxanone has been found to be nonantigenic and to elicit only a slight tissue reaction during absorption. The pigment for the violet dye is D&C Violet No.2. MINTā¢ is available sterile after ethylene oxide (EO) gas sterilization and dissolves over time in tissue.
